Eager to check out the Commodore Trail but don’t know the route, or the many points of interest along the way? Friends of the Commodore Trail have you covered with a new map that traces the path of the 5.4 mile trail as it follows Coconut Grove’s waterfront from Cartagena Plaza in the south to the Rickenbacker Causeway on the north. The easy-to-follow, color-coded map highlights the many points of interest along the way, including parks (for dogs and people), places with a view of Biscayne Bay, and locations of historical significance, including Coconut Grove’s first schoolhouse. The map is available for free to view and download here.
