Dear Editor,
I loved the “Safer streets” concept! Last Friday evening we crossed Grand at Fuller & used the flags. This Wednesday I was trying to cross at the exact same intersection and most of the flags have been STOLEN!!! There were about 40 — 10 in each bin/holder last week and this week there were a total of about 6 in all 4 holders. I wondered if this would happen. I put out American flags for Memorial Day & July 4th & my own neighbors STOLE my American flags! People are not kind anymore; I don’t want to know what they are thinking but it certainly isn’t nice.
