Coconut Grove Spotlight
We’ve been at this for a while, as many loyal Spotlight readers will attest. But now that summer is over (You noticed the change in weather, right?), the Spotlight team wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves to the community and to thank the many donors and sponsors who have stepped up to support the Spotlight.
So, consider it official. The Coconut Grove Spotlight, a nonprofit newsroom committed to delivering reliable, independent news for the Coconut Grove community, is now a part of Miami’s media landscape and – hopefully – an important part of your local newsfeed.
The Spotlight’s mission is to provide in-depth reporting on the community issues that matter most to readers. Its twice-weekly newsletter highlights key local stories, events, and issues with a focus on factual, unbiased journalism.
