Smile! This Forgotten Kiosk May Be Your Next Photo Op

Seventeen years after the City of Miami installed three information booths in Coconut Grove, one of the remaining kiosks may become a vintage photo booth.

  1. Whether or not you think this is a good idea for Coconut Grove (one of the most picturesque villages in the Country), you can still be skeptical of how the City and residents will benefit from a photo booth.

With a negotiated low rent (and no shared profit structure), it’s easy to see why the owners want this deal.

However, when asked if they had statistics of how the booth has yielded increased dollars for the retailers and restaurants in other locations, the owners’ response was “that information is proprietary”

  2. With the poor condition of some of the sidewalks the kiosks could be in demand and rented by personal injury attorneys.
