To the Editor:
I am so happy the Spotlight is sharing information about goings on in the Grove. Thank you! I live in South Grove, but am in Center Grove a lot (Pilates, haircuts, dining, etc.). For many years I have had concerns about people (myself included) crossing at Grand Avenue, Main Highway and McFarlane Road. The lights seem like there is a pattern, but sometimes not, and people start crossing whenever they see a break in traffic.
Wouldn’t this be a perfect corner to have an all-traffic stop and pedestrians go?
I saw this type pattern when I lived in Germany. Makes sense to me.
